Abstract

|
Purpose: Pressure ulcer(PU) is big issue in nursing consistently. PU delays patients treatment and discharge. By analyze effects of foam dressing to prevent PU, recommands effective way of prevent incidence of PU.
Methods: Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature(CINAHL) & PubMed were searched. Select Randomization Control Trial(RCT) research and review effects of researches.
Result: Foam dressing was effective to prevent incidence of PUs in 4/4 researches. 1 research with film dressing was not statistically significant.
Conclusion: Many variable can influence incidence of PU, condition and situation of patient is very diverse. For this reason analyze occurrences and influence factors of PU is very particular. Nonetheless prevention of PU is important problem in nursing.
